Hi all! i know, i know ... it has been way to long in between posts. i do apologize ...
here's some quick info about us ...
lex is on her trip of a lifetime! she is in walt disney world as i write. enjoying rides that would make me sick. on sunday, she boards the disney wonder cruise. she has no idea the fun that is still to come. the picture above was taken last night at dinner. i believe they went to rainforest cafe. i'm hoping they shared that dessert. i have a belly ache just looking at it.
the boys are wonderful. (but lets remember they are boys, so i use that term loosely) ... anyway ... they were not a bit jealous or resentful that sissy got to go on this trip. they are so excited for her. of course, that means i will be taking them to disneyland a few times in the next week.
they are both doing remarkable in school. they are both really into star wars legos. for halloween jackson is being darth vader and tony (young)obi-wan kenobi.
i took my first of 2 trips to NY for the fall. i went home to surprise my best friend, Alexis, and show up for her bridal shower. she was floored. all of her attendants are out of towners, so to pull this off was amazing. i literally was only home for 1 day. i flew in late friday evening and my flight took off from syracuse at 5am sunday morning. ALL totally worth it!! i will be returning in november for her wedding.
carlos is doing great. busy as usual but balancing it all very well. he and i have mapped out date days with both each other and the kids. something we are needing to be very intentional about.
