Huntington Beach

our trip to the beach was so fun today! mom was pleasantly surprised at how NOT hot it was. she seems to have gotten some good color ... but we'll see how red she gets as the night goes on ;) i neglected to take pics of her (i know, what an idiot). the kids did their usually playing in the sand and boogie boarding. they also played catch with dad, who buried them in the sand as well. we went with our usual beach buddies - The Bond's and also added a new family to our clan! all of our kids really play well together. wish i had more pics to share ... i guess that means we had a great time, no time to stop and snap some pics.

Mom is here!!

gma Jac made it safely! after taking 4 flights to get here, instead of 2, she only arrived 3-1/2 hours late. my family was at a bday party so it was really nice to have some alone time with her. she took me out to dinner ... which is always nice!

after going to the early church service ... our plan for today is to just chill. i'm figuring the jet lag will hit her at some point today. we've got all sorts of things planned for her visit. the kids won't leave her alone :). everywhere we go, lexi holds her hand. so precious!
