Carlos and i are doing very well. Norte and Halogen are keeping carlos extremely busy (not to mention the work he does for LLCF-north. he volunteers with the youth among other things.)
Me? i am now working at least once a week as carlos' secretary. i am cleaning like a mad women. i am up to 9 clients now. as for scheduling, i've left fridays completely open so that when the kids are out of school, i will have one full day with them. thankfully, my schedule allows me afternoons with them because i am only working in the mornings. i love my job. i have also started to bowl on a league. so very excited about that. hopefully, i'll have a pic of my team to post after wednesday. last week was my first week. i did fairly well, except for the fact that the first ball i threw was a gutter. YIKES! i can just imagine what my team thought. but i redeemed myself ... i think, i did pick up the spare (what my kids like to call a spare/strike.) my best game that night was a 174. not bad for someone that has never bowled regularly.
the kids are doing great. i hope to post an individual post about each one of them soon. but for now ... they are all looking forward to the last day of school (june 12th) AND they CAN NOT WAIT to go to NY in july!!
Lex is keeping busy busy busy. she is working so hard on the play she is in. i am so proud of her, she is doing amazingly. she has already had her chorus concert and is looking forward to her trumpet concert, mainly so i will stop hounding her to practice. she will be leading worship at church in a few weeks, something she is looking so forward to.
Jax is doing well. he was tested for the 'gifted' program in long beach. hopefully we'll know soon whether he made it in or not. in his words, "the test was easy, mom, and fun." wow, someone who actually likes standardized tests.
tony is great. he wrote his first song last week. he came home from school and started singing this song. and when he was done, he said to me that he made it up at school that day. since then, carlos has worked on the chorus with him (he made up the verses all by himself) and they have recorded it. he's sung it for his sunday school class and i guess they made up hand motions for it. i will try and work on getting a sound bite on here (i'm not sure if i can actually do that ???? anyone???)
i think that gets you some what caught up. pics to come of various activities.
'til then,
nic
